Description:
For this project, I designed an artwork that covers the interior of a pyramid shaped dome atop the library’s young adult reading room. The room has a view of the Griffith Park Observatory, so the design has a celestial theme. The artwork incorporates designs from several cultures that pertain to the sky, and features wishes gathered from library patrons juxtaposed with quotes from literary sources about the stars.
